Texans defensive end Joel Heath has been inducted into his high school athletic Hall of Fame.
Heath attended Mount Healthy High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was a three-year starter who earned a scholarship to Michigan State.
Heath played in the Big 33 Classic and was named first-team All-Ohio and Defensive Player of the Year in his district.
"Beyond thankful to be inducted into the Mt. Healthy athletic hall of fame!" Heath wrote on Instagram. "I've spent 18 years of my life in Mt. Healthy and to achieve this goal is so humbling. I love my city and will continue to do my very best to represent it!
