Texans' J.J. Watt says his back feels great

The true test of how sturdy Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt's surgically-repaired back is will come during training camp.

Until that time, though, Watt is confident that his back has reacted well while practicing all spring with no restrictions on his activity. He hasn't experienced any setbacks with a herniated disk that required a pair of surgeries last season year and ended his season after three games.

The three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year has looked like his old self, albeit without any full-contact drills since this is the offseason.

"I feel great," Watt said.
