It was a significant moment for Texans wide receiver Jaelen Strong, delivering an encouraging move to shake free from one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL.
Thrust into the starting lineup against the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots due to injuries, Strong made a slick move to get open against Pro Bowl cornerback Malcolm Butler.
Strong froze Butler, the Super Bowl hero for the Patriots in Super Bowl XLIV with his game-sealing interception of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, with a jab step to his right. That left Butler flat-footed as Strong broke into the clear across the middle to his left for a leaping 2-yard touchdown catch against the Patriots on Saturday night at NRG Stadium.
