Johnathan Joseph has been mentoring Texans Pro Bowl outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney for years, staying in his ear about realizing his vast potential.
The talent, upgraded health and maturity are all starting to come together for Clowney.
During a 20-7 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Clowney delivered the kind of dominant performance the Texans hope to see from the former top overall pick every week. Clowney had seven solo tackles, two sacks, two tackles for losses, four quarterback hits and one fumble recovery Sunday.
"I talk to him all the time, each and every day and between plays to keep him focused, not that he isn't focused," said Joseph, 34-year-old two-time Pro Bowl corner who grew up in Rock Hill, S.
