The Texans have interest in former Oakland Raiders Pro Bowl offensive tackle Donald Penn, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.
A three-time Pro Bowl selection, Penn, 35, has drawn interest from several teams since being released by the Raiders.
The Texans could use upgrades to an offensive line that allowed an NFL-high 62 sacks as Pro Bowl quarterback Deshaun Watson was under heavy duress most of the year.
Penn spent the past five years with the Raiders after a stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He allowed just 16 sacks over his first four seasons in Oakland and was signed to a two-year, $21 million contract extension in 2017.
