In a concerted effort to combat the Texas heat, the Texans are utilizing a portable, large cold room on their practice field.
The Texans became the latest NFL team to have a special room for players to cool down at practice, joining the New Orleans Saints. Several colleges, including Alabama and LSU, use similar technology.
The trailer has a temperature of 25 degrees and can bring down players' core temperature by 30 to 35 degrees in five to 10 minutes.
