Days after the Texans traded three-time Pro Bowl selection Duane Brown, Chris Clark has returned from a strained calf to replace him at left tackle.
Clark practiced for the first time since getting hurt against the Cleveland Browns. He was limited.
The former Denver Broncos starter has started five of six games this season.
"It's one of those things," Clark said. "Trades happen. It's that next guy up mentality deals. I'll be good. It feels good. Just one day at a time and go from there."
Meanwhile, Texans outside linebacker-defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (knee), cornerback Johnathan Joseph (shin), inside linebacker Dylan Cole (strained hamstring) and defensive end Joel Heath (knee) didn't practice.
