Texans offensive guard Greg Mancz has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans due to a knee injury.
Mancz didn't practice the past two days after participating on a limited basis Wednesday.
Veteran lineman Jeff Allen will start in his place at right guard as he returns to his usual spot in the lineup. Allen had been starting until suffering a high-ankle sprain in the season-opener.
Allen struggled with injuries last season during the first year of a four-year, $28 million contract and underwent offseason ankle surgery.
"I think he's had to deal with injuries," Texans coach Bill O'Brien said.
