Texans offensive guard Greg Mancz was downgraded to not practicing Thursday after being limited Wednesday.
If Mancz is unable to play Sunday, then Jeff Allen will start at right guard as he's returned to participate fully after missing the past two games with a high-ankle sprain.
Meanwhile, nose tackle D.J. Reader was upgraded from not practicing Wednesday to being limited Thursday with a knee injury. Reader said Thursday he's good to go Sunday.
Defensive end J.J. Watt, who has a broken finger, was given a day off to rest. He'll practice Friday, according to coach Bill O'Brien.
