The Texans' inactives contained no surprises, deactivating a pair of injured players and four inexperienced players.
Besides starting wide receiver Will Fuller and backup running back Alfred Blue, who were officially ruled out Friday with a broken collarbone and a high-ankle sprain, respectively, the Texans also ruled out rookie defensive lineman Carlos Watkins.
Watkins is a fifth-round draft pick from Clemson who won't be part of the Texans' defensive line rotation in their season-opener Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Texans also scratched rookie cornerback Treston Decoud, offensive tackle Julie'n Davenport, center-guard Kyle Fuller and outside linebacker Ufomba Kamalu.
