The Texans and Patriots held their first of two joint practices at The Greenbrier on Tuesday. Head coach Bill O’Brien was pleased with what his team accomplished in the nearly three-hour practice in full pads.
“It was good," O'Brien said Tuesday. "We got a lot of good work done today. Ran a bunch of plays, lot of different situations. I just really believe in the joint practices, especially this time of year when you’re developing your team and you’re working on fundamentals. It’s really a good thing.”
Both teams have similar practice styles and tempo which facilitated a smooth day of drills, according to O’Brien.
