Texans right guard Jeff Allen left the game in the third quarter Sunday with an injury.
He was checked out by trainers for several minutes before jogging lightly off the field.
The Texans replaced Allen in the lineup with Tony Bergstrom for one play before shifting over right tackle Derek Newton to right guard and had backup Kendall Lamm step in at right tackle.
Lamm was operating as a blocking tight end with C.J. Fiedorowicz sidelined with a knee injury and rookie tight end Stephen Anderson inactive with a hamstring injury.
Allen was signed to a four-year, $28 million contract in March to leave the Kansas City Chiefs as a free agent.
