The Texans' maintained their recent stranglehold on the AFC South Sunday on the strength of five Nick Novak field goals, a doggedly persistent running game and a wounded but still-stalwart defense that gave Andrew Luck more than he could handle Sunday in a tense 22-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium.
A 13-point third-quarter lead held up as the Texans intercepted two of Luck's passes and forced him to lose the football on a sack with the Colts, then trailing 16-10, deep in Houston territory in the third quarter. The Texans scored nine points following the three turnovers.
