Texans general manager Rick Smith doesn't have buyer's remorse about the hefty investment the AFC South club made to acquire quarterback Brock Osweiler as a free agent.
Signed in March to a four-year, $72 million contract that included $37 million guaranteed, Osweiler has thrown six interceptions through four games. He's won three of his four starts and is now 8-3 in his career, including his 5-2 mark last season with the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos.
Osweiler has completed 61.6 percent of his throws for 949 yards, five touchdowns and has a 74.8 passer rating, ranking him 38th in the NFL.
