Texans' George Godsey: 'It all starts with the running game'

The arrival of running back Lamar Miller figures to transform the Texans' dormant offense.

The Texans are traditionally stubborn with the running game, even last year when they lost four-time Pro Bowl runner Arian Foster due to a torn Achilles.

They still managed to rush for 108.2 yards per contest and finished 15th in rushing without Foster for the majority of last season, but averaged just 3.67 yards per carry to rank 28th in the league in rushing yards per paly.

Now, the Texans are overhauling their running game behind Miller after signing the former Miami Doilphins standout to a four-year, $26 million contract that included $14 million guaranteed.
