The Texans' injury settlement for former starting offensive guard Jeff Allen was $959,143.

The Texans released Allen from their from reserve physically unable to perform list this summer.

Allen dealt with concussions and ankle injuries over the past two seasons since joining the Texans on a four-year, $28 million contract. The deal includes $12 million guaranteed.

Allen struggled with his durability since leaving the Kansas City Chiefs as a free agent and was limited to a dozen games last season.
