DENVER -- It got ugly quickly for the Texans' defense as they were repeatedly gashed by the Denver Broncos' dangerous running back tandem of C.J. Anderson and Devontae Booker.
The Broncos rushed for a season-high 190 yards and two touchdowns on 35 carries during a 27-9 victory Monday night at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
Anderson rushed for 107 yards on 16 carries, averaging 6.7 yards per run. Booker gained 87 yards on 17 carries for a 4.9 average.
"They started to run the football and they started to control time of possession and the clock," Texans middle linebacker Brian Cushing said.
