Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans made quite the claim Monday when detailing the challenge ahead for his team's defense in Week 7.
"Going against Jordan Love this week, he will be the best quarterback we’ve seen this year," Ryans told the media at NRG Stadium. "It will be a really, really tough matchup.”
Ryans isn't taking a bold stance in praising the Green Bay Packers quarterback, now in his second season as the team's starter. Love is 11–9 (and 1–1 in the postseason) as a starting QB dating back to 2023, tallying 44 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 21 starts.
