The Texans are expected to sign former Chicago Bears outside linebacker Lamarr Houston and former New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Kendall Langford, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.
Both players worked out for the Texans on Tuesday in the wake of the AFC South franchise losing three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt to a broken leg and outside linebacker Whitney Mercilius to a torn pectoral.
Houston is a 6-3, 274-pound former Oakland Raiders second-round draft pick from the University of Texas.
Houston met with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday.
