Martin has been the best part of the trade so far for the Texans, who also picked up a 2020 third-round draft pick and reserve linebacker Barkevious Mingo in exchange for a three-time Pro Bowl selection.
Martin hasn't replaced Clowney's impact, but he has been improving lately as a pass rusher.
