For the past two seasons, former Texans offensive guard Brandon Brooks has been dealing with anxiety that's severe enough that it's caused uncontrolled vomiting before games.
Brooks missed a game last December against the Buffalo Bills when he became violently ill and was sweating profusely and was hospitalized overnight in New York.
Signed by the Philadelphia Eagles in March to a five-year, $40 million free agent deal, Brooks told Philadelphia reporters this week that his anxiety was caused by an "unhealthy obsession" to be perfect on the field. Brooks said he's now taking medication to address the situation.
