They've accomplished that goal by careful drafting and player development.
The undefeated Vikings have one of the top defenses in the NFL, ranking seventh overall in total defense.
The Vikings feature a talented front seven and secondary, which includes defensive end Everson Griffen, defensive tackle Linval Joseph, linebackers Anthony Barr and Eric Kendricks and cornerbacks Xavier Rhodes and Trae Waynes and safety Harrison Smith.
