Texans display interest in Georgia lineman Tyler Catalina

The Texans have been in touch with Georgia offensive lineman Tyler Catalina this week, according to a source not authorized to speak publicly.

Catalina is projected a seventh-round target or a priority free agent.

Catalina is a 6-6, 321-pound left tackle who could project inside to guard. Catalina started 12 games at left tackle last season for the Bulldogs after transferring from Rhode Island.

He played in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl all-star game.

Catalina was an all-conference tackle at Rhode Island.

The native or Worcester, Massachusetts worked out for the Atlanta Falcons at their local prospect day.
