HOUSTON -- Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson has started running for the first time since he tore his ACL in early November.
On Monday, the first day of the NFL offseason, Watson posted a video on Instagram of him running on an AlterG anti-gravity treadmill at NRG Stadium.
Watson tore the ACL in his right leg during practice on Nov. 2. In the six starts before he tore his ACL, the rookie quarterback threw for 1,699 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions. At the time he got hurt, Watson was tied for the NFL lead in passing touchdowns and was on pace to shatter the rookie record in that category as well.
