Other than some light tosses during the start of practice, Texans star quarterback Deshaun Watson hasn't spent a lot of time throwing to versatile teammate Joe Webb.
Webb is the Texans' versatile third quarterback. He doubles as a backup wide receiver and a special-teams contributor.
Webb was pressed into action at wide receiver Sunday due to injuries to DeAndre Carter and Keke Coutee during a loss to the Indianapolis Colts, catching two passes for 13 yards.
"Joe Webb is a guy that does a lot of different things for this team, a lot of great things for this team, but I never, throughout the week, get to throw balls to him, especially in the slot position," Watson said.
