Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair will likely draw a hefty fine from the NFL league office this week after his sideline punch on Sunday Night Football. Al-Shaair didn't draw the the ire of his head coach Monday afternoon, however.
Al-Shaair was involved in a scuffle on the Chicago Bears sideline in the third quarter of Sunday's 19-13 win. The summer free-agent addition levied a hard hit on rookie quarterback Caleb Williams near the right boundary, and after Al-Shaair was subsequently swarmed by Chicago players, he connected on a quick punch to Bears running back Roschon Johnson's helmet.
