Before Texans cornerback Kevin Johnson suffered another Jones fracture in his foot for the second year in a row, the former first-round draft pick was playing some of the best football of his career.
Shadowing Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Phillip Dorsett effectively, Johnson had 10 tackles in his final game last October prior to being placed on injured reserve and eventually undergoing surgery.
Out of a walking boot for months and healthy again, Johnson is upbeat about his third NFL season.
"It feels great to have my health back," Johnson said during a Texans Care Volunteer Day community event at the House of Tiny Treasures in Houston.
