Texans corner A.J. Bouye provides depth, size in secondary

Leaping into the air, Texans cornerback A.J. Bouye disrupted the passing lane as he competed to wrestle the football away as he nearly came down with an interception.

Bouye displayed the size and physical nature the Texans and other NFL teams covet at the cornerback position.

With Johnathan Joseph recuperating from arthroscopic knee surgery and Kevin Johnson sidelined after undergoing foot and wrist surgeries, Bouye has filled in capably, as he did last season when he started twice and played in 15 games for the AFC South champions.

Bouye was the Texans' fourth cornerback and had 15 tackles, two interceptions and six passes defended.
