Texans' Chris Clark placed on injured reserve, Lamarr Houston released

The Texans have lost starting left tackle Chris Clark for the remainder of the season. He was placed on injured reserve today with an ankle injury.

Kendall Lamm replaced Clark, who suffered an ankle injury, in Monday night’s loss at Baltimore.

The Texans also released outside linebacker Lamarr Houston, who had been inactive for the Monday loss at Baltimore.

The Texans promoted three players from the practice squad – guard Chad Slade and outside linebackers Gimel President and LaTroy Lewis.

They also placed inside linebacker Ben Heeney on injured reserve.

Inside linebacker Brian Cushing, who was suspended for the last 10 games, has a one-week roster exemption.
