Texans' Chris Clark on season-ending injury: 'It's a little disappointing'

Texans veteran left offensive tackle Chris Clark saw his season officially end Wednesday.

Days after suffering a high-ankle sprain and a bone bruise against the Baltimore Ravens, Clark was placed on injured reserve with injuries that won't require surgery. He'll likely be replaced in the starting lineup by Kendall Lamm.

It became a time element on the decision as Clark would miss four to five weeks and possibly could have returned for the final game of the regular season for the 4-7 Texans.

"Yeah, it's a little disappointing," Clark said. "You don't want to get hurt, but little things happen when you play the game.
