KATY -- Texans cornerback Charles James nodded his head in approval. He clapped his hands while encouraging a group of young football players to keep their heads up and see what they tackle.
It was an important football safety reminder from the feisty defensive back and special-teams contributor at a Play Safe football clinic Saturday at Cinco Ranch High School. Former Texans players JJ Moses and Matt Murphy, medical experts from GE and Houston Methodist and Texans cheerleaders attended the event.
"This is about helping the kids, definitely having fun and showing them some of the right techniques as football players and helping them get better," James said.
