The Houston Texans have incurred another significant injury setback as they prepare for Sunday's game against Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Starting cornerback Derek Stingley Jr., who Houston selected with the No. 3 pick in the 2022 NFL draft, injured his hamstring during Wednesday's practice and "could miss several games," according to KPRC 2 Houston's Aaron Wilson. Stingley had not been ruled out of Sunday's contest as of Thursday morning, and the Texans will further evaluate his injury on Thursday, per the Houston Chronicle's Brooks Kubena.
