The Texans are doing their research when it comes to defensive backs in this year’s NFL draft.
It makes a lot of sense after the Texans lost both A.J.Bouye and Quintin Demps in free agency.
Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle says the Texans brought in USC safety Leon McQuay III for a visit.
The 6-foot-1, 197 pound McQuay finished his college career with 123 tackles, five interceptions and 16 passes defended.
McQuay has the athleticism when it comes to covering opposing offensive players, but there are concerns about his tackling as well as his awareness.
