Brennan Scarlett has filled in capably during the absence of unsigned franchise player Jadeveon Clowney.
Starting at outside linebacker, Scarlett is enjoying the climb from undrafted free agent to filling a key role in the Texans' defense.
"I'm definitely excited," Scarlett said. "Really the past few years, I've been trusting the process and coming in every day to get better and control the things I can control the chips fall where they may.
