Shadowing Washington running back Kapri Bibbs and reacting quickly to an Alex Smith pass, Texans linebacker Brennan Scarlett made a nice catch to secure an interception Sunday.
It was the first of his NFL career and Scarlett displayed good hands and sound coverage techniques while playing a new position.
Normally an outside linebacker, Scarlett is starting at inside linebacker while Zach Cunningham is sidelined with a sprained knee.

"It was a decent little snag," Scarlett said. "I got a lot of confidence from making the play.
