LOS ANGELES - Although the Texans' offense had its moments during a loss to the Los Angeles Rams, there was plenty of room for improvement.
The Texans went 2 of 9 on third downs. Backup quarterback Brandon Weeden, who completed 10 of 17 passes for 108 yards, one touchdown and one interception, felt like the Texans needed to be sharper.
"This is a perfect example of how the preseason is a little challenging," Weeden said. "We went into this thinking it would be a lot of man coverage. They played a lot more zone coverage. I think we adjusted fairly well.
