Before Bradley Roby suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Texans' starting cornerback was off to a fast start this season.
Signed to a one-year, $10 million contract in March, the former Denver Broncos first-round draft pick started the first six games and was grading out higher than any corner on the roster. He had 24 tackles and four passes defended and proved capable of lining up inside or outside.
The injury has involved a lengthy healing process for Roby, who has missed the past five games and is angling toward his return Sunday night against the New England Patriots.
