WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. – Coaches know they are going to lose players because of injuries. That's part of the game. Bill O'Brien is no different.
After practice Thursday, O'Brien was asked about losing receiver Will Fuller, who's out two to three months after suffering a broken collarbone Wednesday.
"The next guy's got to step up - that's the NFL," O'Brien said. "Injuries happen, next man up. Will will be back. It's a not a season-ending injury. He'll be back in Houston rehabbing."
Fuller, last year's first-round pick, caught 47 passes as a rookie. He also was the Texans' best punt returner.
