Texans coach Bill O'Brien wasn't surprised at all that quarterback Deshaun Watson put in overtime work following Sunday's loss to the Panthers.
Four hours after the game ended, Watson was on the field at NRG Stadium working on deep throws with his private quarterbacks coach Quincy Avery after misfiring on a pair of long passes to DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller.
Watson threw a series of passes, honing his accuracy and mechanics.
"He cares," O'Brien said Monday. "He cares deeply about trying to help us win. He cares deeply about winning. That's who he is. We've got a lot of guys like that.
