It's unlikely that the Texans will trade for a defensive lineman in the wake of defensive end J.J. Watt's season-ending torn pectoral, according to coach Bill O'Brien.
Watt got hurt Sunday night and will undergo surgery this week and is expected back for offseason workouts in some capacity after rehabbing the injury. Now, the Texans have the difficult task of making up for his loss.
O'Brien emphasized that replacing the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year with one player is an extremely far-fetched scenario
"No, I think it's more about if that were to happen, which I would say the chances of any transaction like that happening today are slim to none, to be honest with you, but never say never," O'Brien said.
