Texans veteran offensive tackle Duane Brown is headed in the right direction to potentially making his season debut Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
Brown has made a sound recovery from a torn quadriceps tendon that required surgery.
Texans coach Bill O'Brien didn't commit to Brown definitely playing, but is upbeat about the three-time Pro Bowl locker's chances.
"I think he's making progress towards being able to play on Sunday," O'Brien said. " I think he feels better and better about where his leg's at. From a leadership standpoint, he's definitely one of the leaders of our team.
