When Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson absorbed enough painful hits that he needed to be examined in a medical tent on the sideline, backup Brandon Weeden didn't start warming up.
Weeden had a strong feeling that Watson would finish what he started. And Watson did, engineering the game-winning drive Sunday night during an overtime victory over the Dallas Cowboys.
"He took some pretty good shots," Weeden said,. "One thing about him you can tell on the sideline about his demeanor that he wanted to finish the game. He's a tough dude. Even though he took some shots, I've been in that position, your adrenaline takes over.
