The Texans were awarded former Miami Dolphins running back Greg "Buddy" Howell, former New Orleans Saints safety Natrell Jamerson and former New England Patriots defensive back A.J. Moore off waivers, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.
Both are undrafted rookies.
The Texans had the fourth ranked priority on waiver claims after going 4-12 last season.
Howell, 6-1, 222 pounds, rushed for 2,424 yards and 22 touchdowns at Florida Atlantic.
Moore, 5-11, 200 pounds, excels on special teams.
He had 48 tackles, one sack, a fumble recovery and three pass deflections as a senior at Ole Miss.
