Texans apparently down to two finalists for head coaching job

Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon has been informed that he won't be the Texans' next head coach, according to CBS Sports' Josina Anderson. That leaves just two finalists for the Texans job still available: Josh McCown and Brian Flores.

Flores was the first person the Texans interviewed after they fired David Culley last month, and they interviewed him a second time last week. The former Dolphins head coach has filed a class action lawsuit against the NFL, the New York Giants, Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos claiming racial discrimination in the hiring and firing process for NFL coaches.
