Mistiming his leap and out of position, Texans free safety Andre Hal was embarrassed Sunday as he got posted up by imposing Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery in the first half.
Surrendering a 54-yard reception to Jeffery and arriving late to help out cornerback Kareem Jackson on a touchdown pass to Eddie Royal over the middle, Hal was determined to rebound from his miscues.
"I had to make up for it," Hal said. "We had to make a play."
Hal intercepted a pass in the third quarter just after halftime, a throw Bears quarterback Jay Cutler intended for wide receiver Kevin White in a turnover that was caused by a miscommunication.
