The return of Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver A.J. Green from a problematic hamstring injury is an important enough development to impact the Texans' defensive game plan Saturday night.
Green is a big, tall, fast wide receiver who's been limited to two snaps over the past five games due to a serious hamstring injury. Although the Bengals have been eliminated from playoff contention, Green told reporters he intends to play in this game.
"It changes because of the simple fact of who he is," Texans cornerback A.J. Bouye said. "He's a great receiver. We're excited if he plays because it's a great challenge and we want to see where we're at against the top receivers.
