Two more possible candidates have emerged to become the Texans’ new general manager to replace Rick Smith.
Among the candidates the Texans are interested in are Philadelphia vice president of player personnel Joe Douglas and Dallas vice president of player personnel Will McClay.
Four other candidates are Buffalo vice president of player personnel Brian Gaine, New England vice president of player personnel Nick Caserio, Texans vice president of football operations/assistant general manager Jimmy Raye III and Green Bay director of player personnel Brian Gutekunst.
Owner Bob McNair said this week interviews will begin next week, and the Texans expect to interview four to six candidates.
