The Texans activated former University of Texas running back D'Onta Foreman from the reserve-physically unable to perform list, a transaction that should bolster an already strong running game.
The Texas City native had until Thursday to be activated or miss the remainder of the season.
Foreman has made a full recovery from a torn Achilles tendon suffered a year ago as a rookie.
Foreman said last week he has regained his explosiveness and cutting ability.
