Months after being ensnared in a political squabble, Texans owner Bob McNair may find himself in another controversy.
McNair's comments about Native Americans in a New York Times Magazine article have raised eyebrows.
In the piece by Mark Leibovich on NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, McNair expresses his support for Goodell, a lightning rod for criticism from fans and media. That's nothing new, as McNair has consistently been in Goodell's corner over the years.
However, McNair's remarks later in the article stood out more.
Leibovich wrote that McNair said he was distraught over the amount of profanity during the Texans' appearance on HBO's "Hard Knocks" series last summer.
