Houston Texans general manager Brian Gaine re-signed defensive lineman Angelo Blackson to the start of the 2019 NFL free agency. NFL insider Adam Caplan reported the move once the free agency period started.
#Texans and DE Angelo Blackson agreed to a 3-year, $12m deal, source said. Blackson played in 40% of the defensive snaps last season.
Left un-signed from #Texans DL: Christian Covington, Joel Heath (RFA), and Brandon Dunn.
Blackson was a former fourth-round pick of the Tennessee Titans in the 2015 NFL Draft and spent the first couple of seasons with the Titans prior to being waived.
